May 15th -  Regular Meeting Recap

Brothers,

Knight of the Month Tom Penman

Family of the Month Craig Kubinec Family

We welcomed new members Wayne Ries and Justin Turner and welcomed back world traveler Ron Sheridan.

FS Jake Burkett gave a financial report and details from the golf tournament and fish fry. As per our policy we will not publish our financial info but it is always available to any Knight, simply ask Jake for a copy of any or all of our financial details.

We had a second reading of Officers Nominations for next year and we are still looking a Grand Knight nominee. Please prayerfully consider this role and make sure that we you know we have some experienced Knights that can help with some of the duties of this important position.

We had a lengthy discussion about standing up proudly for our Catholic religion and some of the very real threats against it.

The Knights decided to sponsor some kids to attend the Vacation Bible School at the Parish Center July 16th till 20th. If you have kids from 2 years through 5th grade please let me know and we may be able to help. Also in typical K of C fashion I was asked if individual Knights could sponsor a kid. That is a great idea and if any other Knights are in a position to do the same we may be able to send lots of kids to hear The Word. We will also look into Good Counsel Camp and will report on that later.

The Parish needs volunteers to help as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion and Greeters, Paulette has reached out to the Knights, let’s all do what we can to help.

We prayed for Bob Bielicki’s sister who is in ICU at Morton Plant with an infection, Adrian Brown who is back in the hospital, Bobby Owens who is battling various ailments, Dennis Scott as he recovers from surgery, and Chris Wiand as he continues his job search.

We had a great meal prepared by Bob Bielicki, Bill Feck hit the 50/50 and Carlos Salcido missed out on the ‘Must be Present to Win Drawing”
