Brothers,

The Upcoming Events Schedule has been posted.  Please check it out and mark your calendars

PS Please keep the dates open for Relic of St John Bosco visit to the Cathedral 9-22 through 9-24. Details to follow.

Welcome to the new fraternal year. Let's work together to make it a great one. Two committees have been formed which will be recruiting members for sub committees which will help with all aspects of the council's business. Some sub committees may require as little as ten minutes per month others much more. Expect to be contacted in the near future about helping with a committee or two. So please try to be generous with your time and talents.

August 7-15th is K of C Family Week and Thursday 8/12 is the 158th birthday of Father McGivney.

Saturday Nov. 6th @ Fr. Lopez, Council #5737, there is a 3rd Degree Ceremony. Those Brothers who have completed the first two steps of Knighthood can become 3rd Degree Knights at this time. The Degree will begin at 12:00pm. Please be on time. Jacket and Tie are appropriate for this special Ceremony. Dinner will be served following the Degree at no cost to Candidates. Our Council will cover only the Candidates meals.

There will be many more Degree's between now and the 3rd in Novenber. If you know of any one who might be interested in joining our Order, now is the time to peak their interest. They can make all 3 Degree's within a few months while having achieved full Knighthood of the 3rd Degree which makes them eligible to hold an Officers position in our Council.

As always when signing new Members, please follow them through their Degree's. It is very important that we show our support as their Proposers and Brother Knights. If you have any Candidates for any of the Degree's posted on our website please contact me so proper arrangements can be made for all. Thank you for your support.
